Great Dog Literary accepts submissions from both children's and adult authors.
In children's books we represent picture books, middle grade, and YA. Liz represents a good deal of nonfiction, and has a particular love for middle grade fiction. "I am drawn to coming of age stories, and I’m a sucker for a good middle grade mystery." Mona’s focus is: Literary picture books; Smart MGs/ YAs empathic, imaginative and rooted in reality; Creative approaches to non-fiction
In adult books, we represent literary fiction, poetry and mystery/thrillers, and narrative non-fiction in the areas of food/cooking/gardening, memoir, pop culture, science and technology, true crime, travel. Mona particularly seeks psychologically interesting fiction that transcends plot, and creative non-fiction that deepens our understanding of the world and the human condition
We are particularly seeking diverse voices and perspectives.
